Dr. Jerrad Swanson DC, FMT, DN1 helps a lot of men and women from the Lincoln community who are hurt on the job. According to the National Safety Council, the most common kind of work injury is musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which involves trauma to the muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments and joints. MSDs account for more than one third of all workplace accidents.
The most usual type of MSD is a strain, which is trauma to a muscle or tendon. Strains can be caused by lifting, pushing or pulling too much weight, or by engaging in repetitive movements. Other common MSDs include carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis and back discomfort.
These injuries can be prevented by using proper lifting techniques, taking several breaks and using ergonomic tools. Employers can also help avoid injuries by providing their employees educational sources on preventing getting hurt on the job.
Back issues and injuries are a routine issue that Dr. Jerrad Swanson DC, FMT, DN1 sees in our #Ciyt# office and we also work with patients who have shoulder or neck discomfort.
If you have sustained a work injury or accident and live in the Lincoln area, give Dr. Jerrad Swanson DC, FMT, DN1 a call and make an appointment today. We will help you to create a treatment plan that will help you heal and do our best to get you back on the job as quick as possible!
